Recovery Room
When your operation is over, you will be taken to the recovery room and will be watched closely by nurses until you are wide awake. Many people have little or no recollection of being there. This is a normal side effect of the medications given to you during anesthesia. The nurse in the recovery room will get you started on pain medication as soon as you begin to need it.
