5 Guidelines for Successful
Weight Loss
1. Eat protein first at every meal.
The fat that is being lost is converted to all nutrients that your body needs, except protein.
Since your body cannot make its own protein, you must obtain protein from outside sources in your dietary intake.
If protein is not in your diet, your body will rob protein from its own muscles.
2. NEVER snack between meals.
3. Drink plenty of water.
Your goal is 64 ounces of fluids every day.
Water will help flush out the breakdown products from the kidneys.
Water will assist the skin.
4. Exercise 20-30 minutes at least three times a week.
This should include cardiovascular, as well as stretching and toning exercises.
5. Take your vitamins and minerals as directed.
